Unemployment Report: Good news for the market as non-farm payrolls came in at 124K, lower than the consensus estimate of 220K.

Average Hourly Earnings came in below consensus estimates of 0.3%.

The unemployment rate came in at 4.2% (down from 4.3%), in line with consensus estimates.

The S&P futures have spiked and are now trading 20 points above fair value, indicating a Dow open up 160 points...

Thanx for the excellent article. I noted that Craig Barrett in one of his speeches out in Palm Springs this week referred to "e-commerce workers using workstations". This was the first time I had thought of that sort of "upgrade" on the desktop.

This article just confirmed the trend. The fact that it was from Europe, which has been behind the PC curve, was very gratifying.
