Does anybody know how an outsourced logistics arrangement is accounted for on the books - I have no idea, since I've never been involved with outsourcing.

Is it some sort of transaction fee arrangement, stocking, etc? Forecasting/demand planning I guess would result in misc inventory winding up in the warehouse but then is the vendor out of the loop at that point?

Why would Walmart be using fingerhut here? This is no way to manage the order cycle since they already have the whole setup in place. Etoys probably has no choice.
