Nat...OT........... Thanks a lot and happy to see you back after a quick journey. I think Mr Vajpayee will win and he will have a good majority. I think the two nations will sit down soon, I don't see any other way for us than to have our trade with our southerly neighbours. Certain key barriers need to be crossed and we at our END need to realise that a friendlier India for us is a market of 1 billion people and our only hope to enter 21st century intact and strongly. Enough is enough we cannot act as proxy for others to settle scores with the Indians, we have to look beyond our present Sino- Arab-alignment and look to our historical axis with Indians. That is something that gets me near to ‘death warrant' by the fanatics in my country but I say it openly because that is what I believe. Unfortunately we are shy of our origins as ancestors of Hindus who converted to Islam centuries ago, and most probably we were ‘untouchables' no ‘Brahmin' would have converted anyway we all take great pride to be ‘bluest OF THE BLOOD'. For me that ‘caste system' is deplorable in India like the fanaticism in my own country, it is demeaning for mankind. Fanaticism and discrimination based on creed or ideology is present day scourage of mankind. Like, I cannot stand the fanatics in my country I also want people to be freed from their shackles of discrimnation based on their caste. I earnestly want the 400 million untouchables TO BE GIVEN same rights as the purest of the pure. I also want the 130 millions on my end to satrt thinking that they don't have the unexpired visitation right to heaven, if they are killing someone innocently they go to hell like any one else. It matters least if my ancestors were untouchables or Rajputs or purest breed of ‘Syed' descendants of Prophet. I take greatest pride in my human pedigree. Whewn a human is hurt, we all are hurt, we like it or not we all are part of a greater scheme and these boundries really do not matter. Yes I know this is heretics talk but htis is the fact. This new magna-carte for humanity which is entring 21st century with honor, the other half left behind has missed this journey only because of ideological bridges and vendetta's. All this may be a very far-fetched thought but if we don't learn it fast, we will be the biggest losers. Afghanistan for me is no more a country but a mess where holy war has decimated them. Should we go along that route, I as a Pakistani say ‘no' to that million times. For me I don't want my future generation to be wasting their time to fight a war for ‘Allah'. Allah likes us to love each other not to wage nonsensical holy wars. God loves everyone and has created us all equal, we hope we stop this monopolisation of God and get down to love its manifestations ‘the people' who can be Muslims, Hindus or Jews or Christians or whosoever they may be. We need to go beyond this cocoon of 'ideology' that is what is screwing my country. Streak of self-righteousness has destroyed individuals and will destroy countries as well. If you start thinking as human you forget the word hate, everyone becomes equal in your eye that is what unfortunately religion has failed to achieve the importance of man, before his ‘creed and ideology'. Preferential treatment to ‘creed and ideology' before human identity has caused a lot of wars and crusades. We need to establish love for ‘man' and everything else will follow. I am sad for every Indian soldier who felled in this recent crisis and also for my OWNSIDE BUT WE REALLY DID NOT NEED ALL THAT.... may we see better days ahead and live in peace, I am sure we will because I know a change is coming, inter connectivity will resolve the difference, the gullible people of our region will soon realise that it is not Shiva responsible for their misery it hunger, poverty and extreme inequality, that what I work for and I have a small little dream too. Please forgive me if it was critical or you felt hurt.. just ignore it.. I had just few thoughts .. may be my eccentricity..
