Good point, FREEUS. The programs FDR came up with were only solutions to the troubles of that time, but are in actuality more of a detriment now. That is where Clinton's legacy may hurt us. If he gets any social programs through, that's what we'll have to live with, unfortunately. But I doubt he and his cabinet are going to destroy the free world. He has set a bad precedence with his abuses of executive order, which disappoints me that congress has allowed him to do so. Once again, it falls on our backs to fix this situation. Until the day our voting rights are taken away, we still have power. An interesting aside, the USSR DID hold elections, as a sort of sham of a democracy. Those who didn't vote how they were supposed to disappeared though. Now when that starts happening here, I might get a little paranoid myself...
