Log On America seen to have potential - report
NEW YORK, Sept 2 (Reuters) - A U.S. telecom company is likely to invest into Internet service provider Log On America Inc. (Nasdaq:LOAX - news), a company whose stock price has been hit recently along with other tech-sector firms, Business Week magazine reported.

The telecom company is expected to pay an estimated $25 million for a 10-percent stake in Log On, which is also authorised to supply local telephone service, said the magazine in its September 13 edition, quoting sources close to the deal. Log On officials were not immediately available to comment.

The Inside Wall Street column said that this telecom company is expected to help Log On construct a $100-million network Internet and phone services in New England.
