Intergaph's claims are very transparent. Integraph made the same mistake that so many have--build a business model based on proprietary architectures, become wildly successful, and stop looking at the competetive landscape because you're so damn smart.

Then as your business begins to quickly erode, instead of blaming your obsolete business model, first blame your sales force, then blame your R/D departments, then blame your competition for being unfair.
