Reports 18% Increase in Comparable Store Sales MIAMI, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Perfumania (Nasdaq: PRFM ), the nation's largest perfumery chain, announced today that total retail sales for August 1999 were $11,871,938, a 25% increase over total retail sales of $9,479,400, reported for August 1998. The Company also reported that comparable-store sales increased 18% percent during the month of August over the reported sales for August 1998, resulting in the ninth (9th) consecutive month of increases in comparable store sales.
