I like the new idea for the thread, though I haven't purchased the new manual.

A quick question for you and the crew:

I don't see how CMGI, SFE, etc... could be considered godzillas. They could nuture godzillas perhaps, but I don't see any switching costs in their business of being venture capitalists. Wouldn't it be more in line with the Gorilla Game to size up their IPO's individually and determine which of the IPO's have the potential to be Godzillas?

Another question/observation:

I think AOL at one time was in a Gorilla race. They fought Compuserve, GEnie, Prodigy, etc. for dominance. Unfortunately, the World Wide Web cropped up and any mom and pop ISP could set up shop and start eating into AOL's marketshare. If the world wide web wouldn't have come into existence, I think AOL would be classified as a gorilla.
