Tero: Long ago I suggested that Nokia and Qualcomm are the best in their particular areas and highly complementary. The slogan I suggested was Qualcomm and Nokia - together the world ! OK, perhaps Nokia might prefer first billing.

There is a major misconception in thinking that NOK and QCOM are battling on the same turf in a zero sum game. Not reality.

The wireless pie is growing rapidly. Wireless access to the internet and other uses of handhelds are the future. The wireless/internet nexus is real.

Why continue to argue about who does what in handsets? That is a side issue. Room for all. And especially the best - which IMO are the Q and Nokia each in its own way.

Cheers.

Chaz

Do you have any thoughts on TDMA vs. CDMA on transmission of data, rather than voice. I've been told, that CDMA is really the most efficient means of transporting data, and that this is where TDMA is clearly lacking the technological edge. If data transporation become a key cog in the future, where will this leave TDMA?
