WSJ knows shit about China. A freind of mine just came
back from visiting and that country's economic potential
is nothing Russia could hope to match against.

There is a reason why China and India are poor countries, It is because it is extremely difficult to do business there. Any business that is dependent on doing business in China is going to be subject to rude shocks. There is plenty of room for CDMA to grow in the developed world. I think QCOM and the markets only look at China as gravy if it happens.

China devaluation would not be good that's for sure.

I'm not sure of any implications of this article that concerns QCOM, but maybe the current stock price reflects CDMA happening in China and this article throws a roadblock into that. Any comments anyone?

In addition, if the WSJ article is true, then the future implications for the entire stock market is quite negative if and when China's economy and/or banks collapse. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I'm not sure how anyone else feels but with China's posturing on CDMA vs. GSM I think the stocks of the GSM crowd have much more "China blue sky" built into their share price than the Q. If China implodes a lot of stocks will get hurt. JMHO
