Captain - Elwood's post on Novell got my memory going again. Hell, even they have come back from the software trash heap after making a huge mistake buying the Wordperfect line. Stock has quadrupled since they have 'reconcentrated' on Netware. Even if CPQ does not make any quick progress on the market share front, good news from cost cutting should move the stock ten points without too much difficulty. CPQ and COMS are the only two 'big dogs' left out there, although COMS still has the same guy at the top....

PS - That said, using logic, one has to assume that with a 200 point move up in the DOW, CPQ should close either unchanged or negative...
