Kirk,

I have absolutely no doubt that following Brinker or any market-timer's calls will prove to be unprofitable, if not disastrous, in the longer run.

The only changes to a portfolio that I am comfortable with are the once-a-year asset allocation changes. Since these changes are small (like minor course-corrections) and infrequent, I don't have to be absolutely right. But market-timers who think they can tell when to jump out of the market and when to jump back into the market, have to be absolutely right. If they are not, well, tough luck! <g>
