The Apple G4 models with the new motherboards(Sawtooth) support AGP graphics. These are the 450 & 500Mhz models. On these they can do software DVD decoding via the ATI AGP card.

On the other G4 400mhz model they use hardware DVD decoding (using a Cube daughter card on the ATI PCI card).

Supposedly Apple will be shipping the 400MHz models immediately, then several weeks later the 450Mhz models, and then a few weeks after that, the 500MHz models.
