Walter has the right amount of skepticism.

As far as dilution is concerned, management won't be as free to do that after the company is reporting. And that is part of the merger announcement.

Distribution? This stock has been showing a prolonged bottoming action since the break down last June-July! In the last two months, each time the stock has tried to break up, the volume has jumped on the sell, quashing the break. Looks like accumulation to me.

The chart of MVEE may be of interest. The company displays the character for which it has become famous...good news leads to price decline; the more, the better. The early August fall off in the money flow index, a presumed indicator of accumulation or distribution intrigues. Here's a link to a one year chart. You can re-cast it as a 6 month or less chart for clarity.
