<<GOOD GRIEF! Are there really investors out there reacting to this "news"?!?!? "Well, I'm going to ignore the comments from Everen, B of A, Goldman, H&Q and go ahead and hold. What?!?!?!? Cowen? Cowen was negative too???? SELL!!!!!!">>

Nothing short of bizarre, is it mmeggs. Day-to-day visionaries; viewing the "future" of the company through a microscope rather than a telescope. Ho-hum. I wonder what Qcom will be doing in 2003? Wake me up if I fall asleep.

(OT: How about the ongoing saga w/GBLX and FRO? Wild!)

Jenne:

Take it easy. Analysts have a herd mentality and will kick the stock when it is down just not to be left out. Everen's comment war rather benign but broadcasted with a spin by the media. That started the decline. Other analysts saw QCOM was down, they did not want to be left standing. Why would Cowen lower the rating today instead of a couple days ago. If Cowen is that good, it should have come out the same time Everen issued the comments or before that.

I am going to enjoy the weekend after heavily shorting Jan2000/150 and Jan2000/160 puts. Christmas is coming, and I think those cellular phones will be hot. Hey they are going to retire Beany Babies. Those kids might just want Q-bies.

Have a wonderful Labor day weekend everybody. Let us see how Paris is doing. It just opened two days ago.
