From Yahoo's Market Movers:

Shares of Play-By-Play Toys & Novelties (NASDAQ:PBYP - news) continue to surge. Earlier this week, the company announced that it has become a licensee of Nintendo's Pokemon characters. As noted yesterday, Play-By-Play will be making toys and novelties based on the popular video game and expects to start shipping the merchandise to the amusement market in early spring. Since last September, the company's shares have fallen sharply from $10 to $1. But this week, they have rebounded more than 400% to a recent $6.25.

Though Play-by-Play has not yet released results for its fourth quarter fiscal (ended July), the company has lost nearly $6 million in the prior two quarters and only has $2 million in cash left on its balance sheet. Bullish investors should note that Play-by-Play may have to declare bankruptcy before it can even generate any Pokemon-related revenue
