The management at Air Canada has been walking on thin ice.

Listen , read and absorb all data out their which indicates the handouts and support governments have given Canadian to protect them. This airline remember has always had exclusive rights to lucrative markets.

This has ensured Air Canada has had to operate with a hand behind their backs in a pretty lousy fight.

Shareholders and employees at Air Canada do not deserve what the BC. Alberta and Federal Governments have done.
Now today I read even the Royal Bank is involved in conflict of interest support. No wonder this Bank THE BANK is becoming second best to the Toronto Dominion.

All their actions have hurt both Airlines--and investors --and employees way beyond belief.

Yes Stephen I am a nasty piece of work. Also I am right!
I can't believe you have been investing for 25 years and you still think this is a good deal for shareholders ! Dig a little deeper. You will see that this is a good deal for Onex and AMR. As far as my promulgation is concerned if we allowed our markets a complete "laissez faire" Canadian would have been gone a long time ago And Air Canada would be doing very well for its shareholders. Of course we can't allow that in Canada because we have a social conscience and we are concerned for peoples jobs. Thats what this mess is really all about!! Regardless, a merger means 4 billion in debt and no promiss from schwartz that he will lay off way more than 5000 people. Or if Canadian dies then Air Canada gets it all for nothing!!!!!!!!!
Nothing Steve. Do you see my point? You have to agree that a monopoly at minimal cost to the company is the best deal for Air Canada shareholders.
