how much additional business GSTRF might get as a result of the IRIDF and ICOGF chapter 11's?

Chapter 11's in themselves have indeterminate direct effect on a competitor's business, I believe, since the filing company continues in business. How much more likely is IRID to cease operations given its position in Ch 11? I think there's really not much actual difference.

In any case, neither IRID nor ICO have been booking a material amount of business, although exact numbers aren't being made public. My own guess is that IRID is booking 5,000 subscribers per month, max. ICO of course has been booking nothing. 5,000 per month is 60,000 per year--only 10% of the number G* needs to reach cash flow breakeven.

So, the main result of the filings, IMO, is to help decisionmakers decide which system they might purchase. That is a more nebulous number to pin down. But any corporate purchaser would be taking a significant professional risk in proposing any alternative but G*. (And G* remains a pretty risky proposition for that IT fellow!).

Best regards,
JS
