I'm not positive, but I think the "Poodle" is the standard poodle. Originally bred for hunting, I believe.

Mich,in my opinion, a miniature or toy poodle are not really dogs. The full size and empirical size are OK. They were bred as hunting dogs and earned their way. The smaller ones are yapping, obnoxious, and totally worthless. I don't care a whit what your survey shows...TD
