Shorting IPOS in the first 30 days is illegal ?? Geez there are a lot of traders that are going to need a get out of jail free card.
I have not heard of this "law" forbidding IPOS from being shorted in the first 30 days , considering I do not short stocks as a rule , can you please provide us a link to back this up .

Thanks

Mark

Steve, you are wrong,

I can and have shorted before 30 days on IPOs, and thru
well-know US on-line brokers. It is perfectly legal, BTW. This 30-day rule is a myth.

MDCM, made money on intraday trades this past week. Got new position around 17 Friday, with target of 24-25 within 1-2 weeks. Valuation gap with EELN will close.

cheers
