.....we might live another hundred years, and see all kinds of things, and still be around to see what happens...but a million? No chance. Can't somehow get around being dead for that one.

I know.

Isn't it fun?

And ultra-scary in a way?

So final. We can deny, possibly, mentally, even a thousand years, but the million breaks the back. You'll be gone; and all trace.

All trace.

Ooooh.

Rambi,

In the end, we are all just incipient fossil material. So it (Mr. Market) doesn't really matter in the least. Nor does the non-immortal Mr. Gates or any of the rest of us. Better do something fun or great or worthwhile with your life while you are here. You won't be here long, none of us will. I will leave the aspects of spirituality in this to the askdogs.

I'm sorry, I'm missing something here...two spouseless childless women on a Friday night, and the best you can come up with is a high school football game?? As I read it on the map, you are a mere forty five minutes from downtown D. I bet they don't even serve beer.

Well, then again, when I "batch" it, I usually end up working late at the office, getting a pepperoni pizza and watching two consecutive horror movies, neither of which is Wife's cup of tea. It's easier and more fun to scoff though.
