Amazed me as I always thought about the downtown area. <<In my youth, we used to go pick up pecans every year just west of Ware a little. >> I can recall 3 left now. One had 9 bald eagles in it once. <<I remember there was another sleazy honkytonk east of the Purple Crackle a ways. I recall that this place burned down, though perhaps consumer demand produced a reincarnation.>> Last I knew it stayed burnt. The Purple Crackle had a good buffet for a place with a drive through liquor window. <<Small world ain't it?>> Smaller with the net. I knew a lady who might still live in Houston, she was a neighbor in Bloomington. Her name was Pierce but it has changed several times.
