John, actually, today I began to build a short position against the Naz 100 via QQQ puts. As we all know, it seems that this market has become so narrow, money is flowing into a vertible handful of stocks. The fact that Intel, one of the last sane stocks in the Naz is now selling for a PE well above its historical PE values, and that when the future growth is at best similar to years past and in fact could be considered more uncertain than years past - is to me a very negative sign.

As for AMD that's a simply gamble. If they pull it off you win big, if not, well . . . I haven't bought any but I could see where one might sink some mad money in Leaps and cross your fingers. Rich

"AMD going up" is an oxymoron. AMD's history shows clearly what its quality is as an investment.
