Launch of service delayed ??!!

This is from Reuters. Note that this Globalstar press release says that the service will start in a month or two?? I thought October 10th was the start date?? Is Bernie now sneaking a new date on us?

Globalstar names Navarra president
NEW YORK, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Globalstar Telecommunications Ltd., the satellite telephone company set to initiate service, said on Friday that Anthony Navarra, its acting chief operating officer, was named president.

Navarra, was named acting chief operating officer in March when Douglas Dwyre, retired as president. Dwyre remains on the board.

Globalstar, which is set to begin service in about a month or two, plans to provide service through a network of 48 satellites.

With a 45 percent stake, New York-based Loral Space & Communications Ltd. (NYSE:LOR - news) is Globalstar's largest equity owner and is its managing partner.

Shares of Globalstar Friday closed up 1-3/8 to 25-7/8 on the Nasdaq.
