As I have not yet placed any bets on the short side I find I am having an impish desire to see a mad dash bull rush into October taking the DOW towards 14k and NASD towards 3200 as I feel this would be crash and burn territory.
Did you see the 8/31 NYT feature in Business Day entitled
"Prosperity and Counting",extremely fascinating to me.
The reporter that was at Jackson Hole convention came away with the distinct belief that the Feds are not going to get in the the way of a perceived bubble--they are going to just let it run and set their strategies towards the aggressive actions they will take after the burst.
But the feeling is that burst it will, they just don't when---looks like I may have to play a bit on the bull side
next week---will think about it.Max90

If a move from 1300 to 2900 on the NASDAQ since October 1998
is not a blowoff, what is?
