LOL...I guess you do not understand what chart formations actually are, a read on investor sentiment. Behavior often follows patterns. Of course, formations are not 100% and some formations are more reliable than others.

As far as cycles go, much of the universe follows cycles of one kind or another. Why should human nature be any different, even when it comes to investing.

I have yet to see any form of technical analysis or fundamental analysis that was not open to individual interpretation. Just food for thought...

Failing to understand the above, some may be better off playing video games...<g>
