Waht IS the deal with stretch limos anyway? When I was a kid a stretch job was maybe 36" or 40". Now I see ten, twelve feet of body shoehorned between the pairs of doors. It's a little surreal to see a pair of these contraptions float down I-280 at 75mph, looking like wheeled hershey bars and using a full foot of rear suspension travel on a well-surfaced highway.
A REAL limo has very little stretch and rear doors that hinge from the rear. (The Mulliner Park Ward number on a Rolls comes to mind...) Jmo
