There he lived in relative comfort in California and took delight in writing about the trials and tribulations of the poor and downtrodden. The accolades given by Pat Buchanan mean nothing to me. I am,without a doubt, conservative but Pat has gone too far off the deep end for my tastes. I may have mispoke about the drug induced and may have been thinking of F.Scott Fitzgerald. Considering that alcohol is,in fact, a drug,I don't think there can be any argument on that point...TD
