I found the poll questions. These were in the Cucamonga Post-Telegraph on 6/31/99: If George W. Bush were to come to your home and tax you till you whimpered like a stray poodle, would you agree or PROFOUNDLY DISAGREE with his actions? If George W. Bush were to impose a tax on your erotic thoughts (monitored by a chip implanted in your head), would you PROFOUNDLY DISAGREE with such a horribly intrusive tax policy? The vast majority (50.5%) of those polled profoundly disagreed with these potential Bush tax policies.
