Thanks for the welcome badon, I've always like DW's press releases myself. Yeah, I was a little upset w/ the split announcement myself, but I know his primary goal is to keep long term investors interested. Afterall, he owns a boatload of CMGI, and you'll even notice in the Boston Globe article that he himself could care less about short term swings. Maybe that's not the best attitude, but I kind of respect that. No hype, just the facts. As for earnings, well CMGI was hammered last quarter because they didn't make estimates. So I certainly hope they take off to planet Mars when they beat estimates... or should I say absolutely blow away estimates?? :-) They did well a couple quarters ago when beating estimates, so I would think such dramatic #'s this time would have an even bigger affect... though the Nets haven't been doing their thing of late. Regardless of earnings, there are better things which are fundamental to the growth of CMGI coming up: iCast, Activerse, etc. These cannot be argued in the least. CMGI is about to build the biggest Entertainment empire the world has ever seen. FOX is a $15 billion company. TWX is a $70 billion company. Wanna bet iCast sees even bigger numbers 5 years from now? :-) And that's just one of CMGI's 45+ companies! I hope to see you guys and gals over at Financialville... we're actually getting 6,000 hits a day now, but I would love to see more of you!
