Mike: As usual, you are ahead of me. You have the new edition in hand, I am waiting for Amazon delivery - so much for e commerce. :-) Well, nothing is perfect. To pick up on your point re B2C e commerce "nurturers" of consumers, such as your example of Vignette. This is in itself a glue or stickum, no? Most interesting perception. Perhaps the primary first cut might be to give priority to B2B but to also examinine potential godzillas (or whatever "animal" it might be) in B2C such as Vignette. What thinkest thou?
