Neocon,

the problem for me is deciding when an individual comes into being. Is it when the sperm penetrates the oocite, or is it not until their nuclei actually fuse? Is it a few days later when the embryo actually implants itself? Is it a few weeks later when it can be identified as a human embryo? Is it when the fetus can live on its own?

I don't have an answer, and i can see arguments for and against each time frame.
