Sometimes it is a good idea to have things out. Many times, it is not. People live their whole lives hoping for their moment of truth with their mother or father, a sibling, a spouse, a friend. Whole movies are based upon the fantasy that these confrontations are likely to settle much of anything. But the truth is, there is too much emotional violence associated with those things that we especially want to settle, and the confrontation is likely to be merely hostile and brutal, yet another occasion for offense, with no resolution. Consider the prospect of success, and whether or not it is worth the trouble.....

WE have not been having a feud, MM; YOU have been having a feud with ME. I did not respond to any of your jibes, whether directly at me or in messages to others. I finally decided to set the record straight on the "figured you were drunk" sally, after you brought it up YET ONE MORE TIME in a message to CB. It looked to me as if you were NEVER going to let the matter rest,otherwise.

I now return to my normal no comment mode.
