So, you'll "consider" reading them if I answer your question. Thanks, sport. Of course, you've already read them since you characterize them as "pretty stupid." But why let a little dishonesty get in the way of a good debate, eh?

Kosovo was a true fight for freedom from oppression; I would liken the Kosovan leaders to the likes of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Kosovo was colonized and terrorized by an alien nation, bent on the genocidal slaughter of the native population and/or their enslavement, or total subjugation. Very minor American military action was required to rescue these brave Europeans from tyranny. It will go down in history as one of America's finest hours.

And, I believe, that in the future Kosovo Albanians will stand side by side with us in future crises, unlike the selfish Taiwanese who care only about themselves. For goodness sake, can't you see that the Kosovo Albanians and the Serbs are two ethnically different peoples, one of whom was killing the other????? The Taiwanese are, as Jeff Mizer so aptly noted, just a Chinese breakaway state; they served usefully for a while as a Cold War puppet state set up to needle the Chinese, but frankly China-Taiwan is an internal Chinese affair. Just as we wouldn't cotton well to Russia intervening in a dispute between Arizona and Nevada, we have no business getting involved to the brink of war in what is essentially a Chinese internal issue.
