Thank you for all the research you have done. That is one of the reasons I decided to purchase more shares last week.

Re: SDMI

Highly recommend reading Sound & Vision's review of audio CODECs at soundandvisionmag.com which basically debunks the notion that MP3 is inferior to various proprietary CODECs being touted.

Buried in a sidebar to the article, however, is a pointer to Total Recorder by High Criteria. This shareware program is available at highcriteria.com and basically defeats any and all media copy protection at the device driver level. Unless you're going to put encryption chips in the speakers themselves, if the computer can play it, Total Recorder can make a bit-perfect copy of it. Once copied, run it through your favorite MP3 encoder and the cat is once again out of the bag.

Just another reason why SDMI is DOA.
