Chuck, Intel did announce the September price cuts in May.

intel.com

AMD is creating an interesting environment.

Oh, did I mention the Intel Coppermine is not copper, the P3 has a personal serial number (PSN) , and Windows has a NSA security key?

cryptonym.com

Since the Coppermine is a P3 (according to the above Intel news article) I will have to guess it will have a PSN also.

Fascinating! as Spock would say.

Chuckles - Re: "You will not that the laptop price cuts are rather steep. Even the new speed grade is being introduced at a *lower* ASP than the speed grade that moves to the second place"

Expect Mobile Coppermine CPUs to be announced in the near future.

I assume you will then tell us all about the Mobile AthFLOPs that AMD will launch to one-up Intel.
