JC, the recent news (Cisco's purchase of Cerent, Intel's IXP1200 and system I/O) from Wind has once again validated their technology in my mind. I also believe that the "critical mass" of gadgets containing Wind products will start hitting the balance sheet within the next year. As a result of the above, and the excellent info from this thread, I recently picked up another block of shares.

However, there is still one thing that I have not figured out. On several occasions, Allen Benn talked about Wind being the foundation of "smart" or internet capable cell phones. I know that Wind is used in Globalstar handsets and in cell phone infrastructure, but is VxWorks used in any production cell phones today? Is there a current relationship with Symbian? If so what exactly is it comprised of?

The CDMA revolution has begun and fortunately I was able to be part of it through QCOM. I was also hoping to be part of it through WIND. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
