John, Well the fact of the matter is that VIA is dangerous because they bring potentially much lower manufacturing costs than either Intel or AMD can achieve, through the use of cheap asian based fabs. Thanks to low labour, cheap land, and huge government tax incentives, it's hard to compete on a $/wafer basis with those tiawanese fabs. This is what I don't like about VIA. And VIA is just 'crazy' enough to destroy the whole market to make a couple of $$ for themselves. Steve
