GILLETTE TO MAKE INDIA EXPORT HUB FOR PARKER PENS ASIA PULSE ASIA PULSE Gillette, owner of Parker pens, and joint venture partner of Luxor Writing Instruments Ltd (LWIL) is planning to make its Indian venture LWIL an export base for writing instruments products including Parker pens. "Cost of manufacturing Parker and Paper Mate pens is the lowest in India and it is lucurative to make India an export hub for our writing instruments products," Gillette, Regional General Manager (India and South West Asia) Gunnar Doevle said. The LWIL president D K Jain said the company has already exported some consigments of Parker pens and was hoping to export on a larger scale in the next three years....
