I get the Spectator, although I am behind....I am not a big drinker, but I do like an occasional cognac and coffee, maybe a vintage port, that sort of thing....I rarely, however, go to bars. Lately, my favorite feature has been Ben Stein's Diary (also a Silver Spring boy, by the way).....

Not a critique of the example offered -- I think oxymorons are often thinly veiled negative stereotypes.....often a way to "get away with" what might, in some cases, be regarded as a bigoted remark.
