Okay, Lather, and Everybody: A New Test for "Female Wannabes"! Although I do not wish to boast, I do think this test is a better measure of the sort of Wannabehood that its original discoverer had in mind. Please note that the question 10 is designed to ferret out the hermaphrodites among you. 1. You share the housework with your wife/girlfriend/female relatives willingly. 2. You pride yourself on being a good cook/gardener/interior decorator. 3. You are really bothered when you hear other men putting women down. 4. You have a lot of female friends, and in general enjoy female company (not just for sex), even more than male company. For one thing, you find that female company "civilizes" you, makes you more considerate, less aggressive, etc., etc. 5. You believe that women have been discriminated against, and that measures designed to eliminate such discrimination are justified. 6. You indulge in relatively few traditionally “male” activities (e.g.,team tag football; boxing; nights out with “the boys”; overnight fishing/hunting trips; Irish bar-hopping; etc.) (Feel free to revise this list.) 7. You admire/envy women for qualities you think they have, but think you don't (intuition, greater social adeptness, expressive ability, emotional openness). (Feel free to revise this list too.) 8. You wouldn't mind having a female boss. (In fact, you actually have one, and think she's great.) Furthermore, you think the world would be a better place, in general, if there were more women in positions of authority and power. 9. When you are discussing matters that women are more familiar with than you are (e.g., childbirth), you tend to defer to the women's opinions/observations. 10. There is something.....er.....odd about your genitals.
