Yeah, I know, the handle is a little silly, but I had to come up with one and I didn't want to take it too seriously. Did you hear of that story when you were there? Or did you hear of the Lesbian Avengers involved in other things? My beef is not primarily with them, it is with the teacher's union who decided to keep mum about it. The principal of the school could have made a public statement, to the best of my knowledge he did not. That area is known for its loony-leftism, its a place you would expect a crew like the Lesbian Avengers to be. Its actually kind of charming in a way. I used to go there a lot for the used book stores and used record stores. I would have great fun wearing my Pat Buchanan button while giving peace signs to the assorted pinkos and freaks gathered on the greens and sidewalks. Some of the debates I would get into were always good for a few laughs.
