The "strong sell" was probably done by a firm that's, to be charitable, not very prominent. None of the major wire services picked it up. And no press release was issued to follow it up.

BTW, the "recommendation" was done this week, as Zacks on their web site doesn't reflect it as of 8/30/99. It surely didn't put a dent in VRSN's stock price this week.

IMO, don't think too much of it.
