Well I would agree with you on the gas tax. It's unfair to tax if the government isn't proportionally helping to contribute a viable alternative to using gasoline. The government should take that money and pump it into alternative energy research such as fuel cells such as the Proton Exchange Membrane and rechargible energy sources.... Public transportation such as Railroads & Subways should be free ..then tax away on gasoline... Url
