I think you guys are over-reacting. I can see some cause for concern because I think losing Wright is a negative, but no cause for selling. Every company, especially the great ones, have faced these same issues. Look at the current record brain drain from upper management at Microsoft.

Who knows? Maybe Jimmy Wright's wife was in tears for being ostracized at the club by all her Wal-Mart friends...you know, the ones she used to lord over, or maybe Galli and Wright are like oil and water. The fact is that from a customer's standpoint Amazon's system has been working just fine. The rest of this issue is speculation. The stock will tell the story.

As an Arabic saying goes, "The dogs bark, but the caravan moves on."

>>I am puzzled about why you would recommend a contrarian investment position based on my bearishness on AMZN.<<
TomD, I was just kidding. Wasn't it your humor that implied you were going short the day Glenn informed us he was the last Amzn bear to go bull?
Do you think I'm the kind of person that would ever recommend Amzn at these lofty prices?
You've heard me say this time and time. The only difference between 7/11's and Amazon.com is 7/11 customers have to walk or drive there.
Oh! the other is 7/11 actually makes some $profits, while Forrester Research it might take amzn 10 years or more.
