I was never much of an Apple fan but I must say I am quite impressed at this: apple.com

I have been using an apple mac for years at home and reluctantly switched over to a pc running NT at work about three years ago. Doing anything on the pc was always less intuitive and usually took more steps than on the mac. The mac has always been easier to trouble shoot and fix. I just went to a microsoft presentation about widows and office 2000; the audience came alive when the presenter talked about new functionality allowed for multiple clipboard objects. Bid deal, the mac had that for at least 15 years. The new desktop g4s will have the airport as well as the next powerbooks.

In my opinion as more and more application become web bassed we will see less importance stresson on platform. Functionality, ease of use, and troubleshooting will be the reason to choose one os or another.
