I agree, and police do have some latitude with a reckless driving charge. I wish every time someone doesn't have their child properly restrained they were ticketed. I also like the idea of a driving test for older people. A reflex test and eye test won't show how well they can handle a vehicle or think or whether their judgement and reflexes are impaired by age. Maybe your grandfather would pass. I want me and mine protected from the ones who wouldn't pass.
