Sun simply cannot compete in the low margin, high volume space. At least they have not thus far. They retreat instead of succesfully fighting for the space (which is sensible). But, as the space moves up the food chain, you start to run out of places to retreat to. It is very foolish to bet against the execution of Wintel, they have absolutely wrecked many a company that have tried, and I mean wrecked them. I am sure there is no need to list them.
