Heh heh...

The wizard has left the building. I don't know Eric. You should be able to get answers from Sun. You get free support through November.

I was able to install SO 5.1 on my PC the first time without such an error message. I would re-install figuring a missing file was left out of the original install. I downloaded from Star Division prior to the SUNW purchase and subsequently ordered the CD ROM.

I ran into the same problems several months ago while trying to install SO on Redhat linux. My copy of SO came from one of the British PC mags monthly CDs. Wrote their tech support, searched deja.com and never found the solution. Can't wait till I have the time to rebuild this P200mmx box, in pieces beside my desk, and install Solaris7. One of these days real soon...
