Goa; I agree 100% about the tape recordings not having credibility
at all, first they had total control of those tapes, and could
have splice together words to make it sound any way they wanted.

Second what they presented in court was of such poor quality and
even then one would have to stretch their imagination to come up
with what the ATF was trying to prove they said.

Recently the Jury foreman ( women ) at that trial made a public
statement saying none of the Jury believed that the Davidians
had set the fire. She also said that with this new evidence she
believed the ones in jail should get a new trial.

I'v thought of the TWA 800 crash too and I'm not satisfied
with the findings so far but I while I see other alternatives
I see several and have no way to make them any more valid
than the findings, so I'm at a dead end on it, or rather one
that forks off in too many directions with no way to tell
which road could lead to the answer.

More on tapes, While the FBI tapes are poor, and them having had
total control lends them to have very little creadance at all.
----------------

I do have a collection of recorded 911 calls that as to
the context I would trust..but to draw any conclusions one
needs to listen to them all, out of context they can be made
to slant things one way or the other.
In total context They are much more favorable to the
David & the Davidian side.

Two of them are really bad.
IMO ( deputy sheriff during the first gun battle,
who helped set things up and is in Waco not being shot at,)
well any one can tell this guy is so cheerful that you would
think he just got a date with Madonna , all the guns popping
and he's just like a kid whose dream has come true. It's
extremely incriminating as to his motives for being in on this.
-------------

Then the 911 call to the fire Department, that one convinces
me the fire chief knew the call was coming, and knew he was
just going to make a prefuntionary run. someone got to him
These tapes are clear and the inflections in their voice say
more to me than their words.

PS
Last we know the phone was taped at the complex prior to the
raid and the BATF were listening in and had to hear the so called
tip off call.
They won't release it , so I infer a lot from that, and also what
the undercover agent said, ( as he was standing right by David
when that call came in )
I infer it was a set up call to help assure a gun fight.
That type trick is not that uncommon.
